Sabbath School
The pillar of our group, Sabbath School is held every Sabbath from 10am to 11am. On February 13 we began a new series on 11 of the Adventist Fundamental Beliefs that as a class we voted to study more in depth.
Bible Study
Each Friday night, Bible Study is held at various group members' houses from 7pm to 9pm. We rotate through four themes: Character Study, Mysteries of God and the Bible, Practical Christianity, and Debate/Controversial. Different topics within these themes are discussed each week. Sometimes we invite "guests" to join our discussion, typically older members of our church who have a particular authority on the subject.
For any months that there is a "Fifth Friday", we do not have a formal Bible Study, but instead just meet and socialize and eat delicious food!
Outreach Events
Assisting in our local church and community is very important to our young adults group. Many of our group members participate in Outreach activities such as feeding the homeless, volunteering as Pathfinder counselors, and assisting as Sabbath School leaders. Make sure to check out our
Volunteer page for current opportunities to serve!
Social Events
Our group enjoys many social activities such as Sabbath potlucks, afternoon hikes, visiting local historical places, and game nights!
